The City of Arts and Sciences is a cultural and architectural complex dedicated to science and culture, inaugurated in 1998. Designed by the Valencian architect Santiago Calatrava, it comprises several buildings that have become iconic landmarks of the city. This scientific and cultural leisure complex, perfect for enjoying with family or friends, now occupies approximately two kilometers of the former Turia riverbed. Prince Felipe Science Museum
It is the great 21st-century museum for presenting, in an educational, interactive, and engaging way, everything related to the evolution of life and the advances of science and technology. The Museum offers a comprehensive science outreach program that encourages public participation, fulfilling its mission to disseminate and promote science and technology through fun and entertainment, without sacrificing the necessary scientific rigor of the topics covered. Its main objective is to foster curiosity and critical thinking, aiming to surprise and entertain the public through content related to the world of science, technology, and the environment. It achieves this through "experimental classrooms," spaces dedicated to more systematic workshops and demonstrations.
The ground floor can be visited for free, but you have to buy a ticket for the upper floors.

The Hemisfèric was the first building in the entire complex to open to the public. Several films are shown daily, mostly educational documentaries no longer than 45 minutes, suitable for all ages. Your ticket includes innovative 3D glasses that also allow you to change the language of the projection. If you're traveling with children, there's usually a children's film shown once a day.
