The Sierra Nevada Límite 2026 is the major cycling event in southern Spain.

The Sierra Nevada Límite 2026 Gran Fondo will take place on May 23rd, with its double modality format (146 and 114 km).

Meanwhile, the Subida al Veleta cycling tour will take place on May 24th. Between Cenes de la Vega and the vicinity of the Sierra Nevada peak, it's a landmark event on the national calendar and undoubtedly one of the most demanding challenges on the current cycling agenda.

Sierra Nevada Route Limit

It is a 38-kilometer route with 2,250 meters of positive elevation gain, continuously ascending from the municipality of Cenes de la Vega to the summit of Veleta (3,100 m altitude).

The race will start at 8:00 AM. The registration fee is €30 for the first 500 registrants and €35 for each subsequent registrant, up to the maximum capacity of 1,000 places.
