The last weekend of January is a date all snow running enthusiasts should mark on their calendars. Snow Running 2026 will take place in Sierra Nevada on January 31st .

Snow Running has been held in the Sierra Nevada for twelve years, thanks to the impressive sunsets and the experience of running at night on the snow.

Where does Snow Running 2026 take place?

The 2026 Snow Running will take place at the Sierra Nevada Ski and Mountain Resort and will begin at 6:30 p.m.

There will be several categories, and the registration period runs from 5:00 p.m. on September 23, 2025, to January 14, 2026, or until all places are filled.

The total number of registered participants will be 1,000 for the classic event.

The Snow Running registration fee starts at €27, depending on the category or type of participant.

What is the Snow Running route?

The Snow Running will have an approximate distance of 12.70 km and a cumulative elevation gain of 920 meters for Junior and Absolute categories.

For the cadet and youth categories, the course will be 8.2 km long and have a cumulative elevation gain of 663 meters.

In addition to the prizes for the Snow Running winners, a public drawing will be held with various gifts donated by sponsors and collaborators.

Participants will have two refreshment stations at kilometer 5 (Nevasol-Borreguiles) and the finish area.

To minimize waste, each participant must bring their own collapsible cup or reusable liquid container.
